Nam Dinh

Ninh Binh

Far too few travellers make it to Ninh Binh, a mesmerising area known locally as ‘Ha Long Bay on Land’ thanks to its magical riverine landscape, with sheer limestone mountains rising up from the paddies. Hai Phong

Hai Phong is a large city with an important seaport of Vietnam. Hai Phong is near Quang Ninh Province to the north, Hai Duong Province to the west, and Thai Binh Province to the south. Climate: Because of the proximity to the East Sea, Hai Phong’s weather is affected by inter-tropical monsoons. The annual average temperature varies between 23 degree C and 24 degree C.

Vinh Phuc

Located in the Plains and Midland in the North Viet Nam, Vinh Phuc Province is surrounded by Tuyen Quang and Thai Nguyen provinces in the north, Ha Noi in the east and the south, and Phu Tho Province in the west.

Bac Ninh

Bac Ninh is renowned as the home of Quan Ho, a folk music style of Northern Vietnam, and many festivals that represent Vietnam’s traditional culture. These activities often take place during the Spring Festival, which is usually the period from February to March, creating an influx of visitors from all over the country. Just 80km away from the happening city of Hanoi, Bac Ninh, with its stunning scenery and peaceful ambiance, is ideal for family-picnics as well as backpacking excursions. The most famous heritages of the region are Dinh Bang Temple, Dau Pagoda, Dong Ho Village and Duong River.

Quang Ninh

Quang Ninh is a large province along the north-eastern coast of Vietnam. The province is home to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Site. The provincial capital is Ha Long. Nearly 80 per cent of the province is mountainous with abundant land, forest water and mineral resources. Nearly 90 per cent of coal output in the country is from this province. Ha Long Bay has 1,969 islands, out of which 989 have names.
